While I was Out...Decorating a Nightstand

I haven't been all lazy the last few weeks even though I've been silent.  I've been working on some projects around the house, celebrating a friend's engagement (Roar, Bayer!) and letting Hemmy take me for walks.

What a sweet dog to take me out several times during the day for some exercise....

First up on the to do list was to finish the bedroom.  We had to do a little rearranging to get access to the back door once we got Hemmy so this little nightstand stood bare to bones for a few weeks. It's the dresser from Ikea that you've seen on all the blogs. And, I took some of the wrapping paper I bought in C-Ville last year for my birthday and decoupaged that bad boy within an inch of his life. 

I am really pleased with the way it turned out.  

 That book is excellent, I can't put it down, btw.  Hat Tip to the bro for that one. 

The finished product! I love the Ikea curtains along the back wall.  Adds such a warmth to the room.

 (the bed looked less ruffled but a certain dog was attacking the egg crate again)
