Do you ever have those weeks where you are so busy during the day that when you get home it is all you can do to feed yourself.  You wake up and question "Will it be THAT big of a deal if I don't bath today?" Yeah.  I feel like I've been lazy productive. I've also been dealing with some serious allergy problems which isn't helping. And, not to mention....I've been loving on this little guy.

Hudson (how awesome is that name) came to spend some time with me last week and this past weekend while his parents were on vacation.  He was the perfect little companion, snuggle bug and doctor.  Every time I blew my nose this weekend, he'd jump up and come running over to check on me.

Then, it was back to the bone.

Bruiser better watch out, there is some competition in the mix as far as I am concerned.

Still have lots to share on the weekend I spent with Bruiser in NY and will do some posts on that soon.  He comes home this weekend and I can NOT wait.  His honey-do list is growing by the second.  I mean, the oil in my car isn't going to change itself, now is it?

Today Becky, one of my dearest friends in the world, is coming to visit for the night.  I am so stinking exciting to see her.  I have known her the better part of my entire life and having conversations with her is one of the best gifts ever.  Unfortunately, we don't get to do it nearly as much as we would like but she's that friend that I can always come home to regardless of how long its been since we've touched base.  I'm a pretty lucky lady.

As far as Lent...one of these damn days I am going to learn to stop trying to have the most insane expectations for myself.  It sure will make the "I suck and have no self discipline" meltdowns a lot easier. :)
