So, as you may have seen on the news, it snowed in DC this past Saturday.  I was cleaning the apartment, looked up and was literally shocked to see this:

...especially considering we were celebrating Fall the weekend before in the middle of Virginia.

After lots of shrugs and "Wherever you think we should go, boo"  I am proud to say that...

My very own Christopher Columbus got us through the Corn Maze in a mere 45 minutes!

I would like to introduce you all to the very important men to have contributed their time and talents to the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Bruiser always blames taking naps on all the "looking and seeing" he does. You see, "looking and seeing" can make you super tired.  And after this month, I agree.  "Looking and seeing" is exhausting.

Also being madly in love can do the same thing.

That's right...I am officially a smitten kitten.  I am wildly, totally, completely over the moon in love with Richmond, VA.  Trust me, this news shocked nobody more than it did me.

More coming from the weekend in Richmond but today I want to say I am thankful for my family.  The amazing one God gave me at birth that raised me and the one God gave me as an adult (that continues to raise me)...both I don't often feel I am worth of having in my life.

I am the luckiest little girl in the whole wide world.  Anyone else ever have those days where you are almost in shock that people love you?  I'm having one of those...no reason in particular.

I am obsessed with Jackie Kennedy. You have to understand, when I was home about a month ago I found a big box of magazines and books and clippings. This collection is so comprehensive that had I done it as an adult, I'm pretty sure the FBI would have been watching me.

I packed up and put Bruiser in his car this am to go to Richmond, VA for a few weeks to help out with their elections.  In our House, life revolves around Novembers.

Although I am really sad he'll be gone again (I just got him back from Nevada!) here are the things I've decided to focus on:
