Maaaaaa, the Meatloaf!

I am not trying to brag, but I consider myself a bit of a meatloaf sage, if you will.  So much so, that at the beginning of the year, Bruiser and I were knee-deep in what we called "Meatloaf Sundays."  This consisted of really comforting and fattening sides to go along with Mad Men (yeah, remember that show?!?!?!)

Last night, we brought it back and it got me thinking about some of the more memorial loafs we tried.

Mexican Meatloaf

I support anything that uses crushed Doritos to start a party. I didn't create them (RIP dear genius) but I am saying publicly that I want Doritos scattered on my grave, as well, when I die.

From Morgue File.
(Work with me, okay, I don't have pictures of the actual loaves so I had to try this)
Old Fashioned / Southern Meatloaf

This is the stuff.  Total money. Keep on a rocking me, Paula. Now, I know the actual meatloaf isn't particularly Southern but it makes you crave Cheese Grits (yes, that is a proper noun in my book) like you won't believe, consider yourself warned.

From Morgue Files, again.  I just don't have it in me today, okay?!?

Let me know if you have any outstanding ones, I'd love to try some new twists on a Galatoire Basement Dwellers Family Favorite.
